Study in Turkey

Turkey is one of the fastest-growing study destinations, with internationally recognized degrees, a wide choice of English-taught programs, and tuition and living costs well below most of Western Europe.

We are building direct partnerships with Turkish universities to make the route simpler and more accessible. Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir are the main study hubs, and the city matters as much as the university, since living costs, campus life and part-time options differ widely between them.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need an IELTS score for every Turkish university on your list?

Not always. Most universities accept IELTS or TOEFL for English-taught programmes, but some run their own English proficiency exam or offer a preparatory year for students who do not yet meet the requirement. We confirm each university's exact requirement before you apply.

Can I work while studying in Turkey?

Part-time work is possible but more restricted than in the UK. International students need a work permit, and rules differ by study level, with tighter limits in the first year of undergraduate study. Rules change, so we confirm the current position before you plan around work income.

Is Istanbul more expensive than other Turkish cities?

Usually, yes. Rent and day-to-day costs in Istanbul are generally higher than in Ankara, Izmir or smaller university cities. We factor the city into your budget when shortlisting, so the full cost is clear before you commit.
